MosquitoNI team attend UK Vector-Borne Diseases Conference
Members of the MosquitoNI team have attended and presented their research at the UK Vector Borne Diseases Conference in Liverpool (31 March - 01 April 2026)

The UK Vector-Borne Diseases Conference is a key biannual event focused on vector-borne, pathogen, and One Health initiatives. The conference forms part of a broader, accelerating UK effort to monitor and combat increasing vector-borne disease threats through collaboration. Northern Ireland has an increasing representation at the event.
Members of the team delivered oral and poster presentations on their work, spanning mosquito diversities and distributions in Northern Ireland, vector-borne disease risks across Europe, and biting midge cold tolerances.
