MosquitoNI team attend European Society for Vector Ecology Conference
Members of the MosquitoNI team have attended and presented their research at the European Society for Vector Ecology Conference in Valencia (27 October - 30 October 2026)
The 24th European Society for Vector Ecology (ESOVE) Conference took place from October 27–30, 2026, in Valencia, Spain. The conference serves as a premier international gathering focused on the ecology of arthropod vectors and vector-borne pathogens affecting humans, animals, and plants.
Aidan Desjardins from the team orally presented his work on the effects of urban land use (from 2026 fieldwork in Belfast) on mosquitoes, as well as posters on the wider MosquitoNI project and economic costs of Culex mosquitoes globally.
