Stakeholder Engagement
A key aim of MosquitoNI is to raise awareness of mosquitoes and associated disease risks among different stakeholders in Northern Ireland and elsewhere, and in doing so, to get different stakeholders to engage with the issue and to interact with each other.
To achieve this, the project embeds a range of academic, governmental, industrial, and charitable partners that will help to steer the project and its outcomes, achieved through a series of meetings and workshops focused on identifying knowledge needs, networking, and sharing project outcomes.
We will also engage with the public and citizen scientists through media such as this website, as well as outreach events, to broaden awareness of the mosquito issue and enable citizen reporting.
We are continuously aiming to expand this network, and so please get in touch if you are interested in or impacted by these issues.
