About Us
This project will advance understanding of mosquitoes in Northern Ireland and examine how environmental changes will affect mosquitoes, viruses, and potential pathogens in the future.
We will also bring together government, industry, charitable, and academic partners, as well as the public, to steer the project and communicate its findings.
MosquitoNI is a Research Project with four main work packages, supported by an underlying stakeholder engagement and public outreach component. These pieces of work interlink to better understand mosquito-borne disease risk in Northern Ireland and broader environmental change effects.
